I am proud to introduce you to Japan Wrestling Adventures, which provides travel packages for international fans attending Wrestle Kingdom in Tokyo. This idea has lived in my mind for a few years now, and I’ve finally decided to take the plunge after continuing to watch the gap in this particular market remain overlooked.
I previously co-led and co-organised a Wrestle Kingdom travel package in January 2020 for another travel agency. It was a pleasure to be involved with that company and the trip itself. During the tour, it became clear to me that this was something that could be offered annually and turned into a truly special experience, if done the right way.
A lot of lessons were learned when it came to what worked, what didn’t, what should be done and what shouldn’t. I’m now taking all of that experience forward to make these trips through JWA unbeatable. Having worked in the travel industry since 2015, from direct customer service to operations, I’ve gained a deep understanding of what travellers actually want and need. Clear communication, reliable logistics and support that is personal rather than transactional. We will tick all of those boxes.
JWA will also operate with full financial protection, as required by The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018, and adhere to all relevant package travel regulations for our travellers. Doing things properly matters. Fans deserve that peace of mind when booking something as special as a Wrestle Kingdom trip, and that’s exactly what we’ll provide.
Back in 2023, I spent an extended period in Japan. It wasn’t specifically for wrestling, but to experience more of the country. During that time, I attended a STARDOM show at Korakuen Hall, travelled extensively and gained a much deeper understanding of Japan. Upon reflection, that experience reinforced just how important it is to build trips that are well‑organised and supportive, especially for fans who may be navigating Japan for the first time.
And because creating something this special takes the right people, I’m not doing it alone. I’ve enlisted the support and insight of Joe Baiamonte, someone I’ve worked alongside and been friends with since 2019. Joe brings a wealth of experience, particularly in media, and his passion and friendly manner make him the perfect fit for JWA. We’re both long‑time fans of Japanese wrestling. Not just NJPW, but also STARDOM, NOAH and the wider scene. And that genuine love for the product shapes everything we’re building. While Wrestle Kingdom is our flagship offering, we’re absolutely open to eventually expanding into other events across Japan if the demand is there.
We’re completely open to feedback, ideas and anything else that helps us shape JWA into the best possible experience for every traveller. Our goal is simple: to make these trips easy, enjoyable and unforgettable from start to finish.
