NJPW The New Beginning in Osaka 2026 took place earlier today from Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium. Here’s the full results, courtesy of Fightful.

The action began with with Togi Makabe and Toru Yano defeating Shoma Kato and Katsuya Murashima in a tag team match on the pre-show. A video package for the departing Hiromu Takahashi then played. This was followed by Unbound Co. (Hiromu Takahashi and Taiji Ishimori) overcoming United Empire (Francesco Akira and Jakob Austin Young) in a tag team bout. After that match, Akira attacked Takahashi before Robbie X saved the former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion. Takahashi then bid farewell to the audience.

The action continued with War Dragons (Drilla Moloney and Shingo Takagi) defeating United Empire (Great-O-Khan and HENARE). Following that bout, Moloney revealed that he had extended his contract with NJPW and will be entering the New Japan Cup. A match for the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship was next, with Bishamon-tin (Boltin Oleg, Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI) (c) retaining against TMDK (Ryohei Oiwa, Hartley Jackson and Zack Sabre Jr.).

Andrade El Idolo then got the better of Gabe Kidd, clinching the opportunity to challenge for the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship at NJPW The New Beginning USA in the process. This was followed by Callum Newman beating David Finaly, who seemingly said goodbye to NJPW after that match. NJPW President Hiroshi Tanahashi then revealed that, following the success of Wrestle Kingdom 20, NJPW Dominion will air on TV Asahi in Japan.

Ren Narita captured the NEVER Openweight Championship from Aaron Wolf in the next bout. Meanwhile, Shota Umino and Yuya Uemura were unable to win the IWGP Tag Team Championship from Knockout Brothers (Yuto-Ice and OSKAR). Away from the in-ring action, The Demand (Ricochet, Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona) appeared on the screen to call out Taiji Ishimori. Gates of Agony then challenged the Knockout Brothers.

In the main event, Yota Tsuji retained the IWGP Heavyweight Championship against Jake Lee. Following the conclusion of that title match, Tsuji addressed the audience. This was followed by Unbound Company giving Takahashi one final send off before he leaves NJPW.
